This website is operated by Expat UK Tax Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”), a company incorporated in Hong Kong (Registration No. 76168440; Trust and Company Service Provider licence TC009817), trading as Expat UK Tax. Our registered office is 23/F, One Taikoo Place, 979 King's Road, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong, and we also operate from Freedom Works, The Mill Building, 31 Chatsworth Road, Worthing BN11 1LY, United Kingdom.

We are the data controller responsible for your personal data. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and, where we process the personal data of individuals in the United Kingdom, we do so in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

As a company incorporated in Hong Kong, we also handle personal data in accordance with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). Our clients are based internationally, and we apply the protections described in this policy to the personal data of all our clients and contacts, wherever they are located, in line with the data protection laws that apply to them.

We are headquartered in Hong Kong, and your personal data may be processed by our team there, which is outside the United Kingdom. 8. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, or as required by applicable law. Client data relating to tax advice is typically retained for six years after the end of our engagement, in line with HMRC record-keeping requirements. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe.
