Stephanie Chan

Stephanie is responsible for providing UK taxation advice to International Private Clients in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. 

She works closely with the Wealth Management team in delivering essential UK tax planning advice to clients and actively presents UK tax-led forums and seminars.

Stephanie started her career with Deloitte in London where she specialised in expatriate taxation under Global Employer Services. During her time at Deloitte, she provided advisory and compliance services to various expatriates from multinational companies. Stephanie relocated to Hong Kong in 2017 and provides specialist advice

to International Private Clients, including Britons living abroad and foreigners moving

to the UK.

As well as a degree in Mathematics from Queen Mary’s University of London, Stephanie qualified with ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) and CTA (Chartered Tax Advisor) from the Chartered Institute of Taxation. She is also a STEP

affiliate member (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).

Currently, she is studying towards a UAE Corporate Tax Diploma after the introduction

of federal corporate tax by UAE Ministry of Finance (MoF) in 2023.

Amy Kwok

Amy Kwok works closely with Stephanie Chan in providing UK tax advisory services to international private clients in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions.

​

She manages the UK tax compliance services predominantly in Self-Assessment UK tax returns, Capital Gains Tax Returns, Annual Tax in Enveloped Dwellings (ATED) and Corporate Tax Returns for UK companies.

​

Amy started her career with Fine and Rare Wines (in London) where she gained hands-on experience in essential finance functions such as cash flow management and financial reporting. At Warner Music (UK), she transitioned from a central finance role to specialising in budget forecasting and review of financial statements to help make investment decisions. After qualifying as an accountant with Warner, she moved to Hong Kong and to join Sovereign Tax Advisers, where she now assists with tax planning for private clients in Asia and the Middle East.

As well as a degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE), Amy qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2021 under Warner Music (UK).

She is now studying towards a Wills Preparation Certificate with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) to further expand her areas of expertise within the team.
